Two 14-year olds each face 4 misdemeanor charges after they were caught having sex on the floor of a California mall. Merced police officer Donald King told the local ABC affiliate "It started in the home furnishing department, the way the report read, and a customer came by and they thought they were going to be seen and then they moved to the luggage department."
Many are wondering what would influence this behavior. Karen Carlquist-Hernandez, a licensed psychologist says it stems from the sex bombardment children face everyday. "It makes me think of pornography readily available on the internet that 10 year olds are seeing." The children were released to their parents and will likely face probation and counseling.
