Internet Porn Creates More Work

The mayors of two cities in Peru are doing everything they can to keep children from accessing pornography - and it takes up considerable resources and time.

Internet cafes in the areas are under constant "virtual" watch and are constantly checked to make sure children aren't accessing pornography. Cafe owners are required to implement filters and are subject to fines if they do not.

The chaos of the Internet creates more work and more costs for governments, businesses, and families. Why not better organize the content and information on the Internet in such a way that will offer parents and businesses more choice and control over their own Internet experience?

The CP80 Internet Zoning Initiative will not remove filters and other protections from the equation - it will make them less of a blunt instrument and more like a precise cutting tool that caters to your needs and wants rather than those of the web publisher.
